About Us

Turkish Steel Producers Association
Founded in 1970, the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TÇÜD) operates to support the development of the Turkish steel industry at both national and international levels. The Association's primary mission is to elevate the sector to the level of developed countries, create a competitive structure that can adapt to global developments, compile and publish statistical data related to the steel industry, develop solutions to the problems faced by members, and protect the common interests of the sector within a legal framework. As of 2025, the 26 member organizations within our Association represent approximately 96% of Turkey's crude steel production. In this capacity, TÇÜD continues to be the most widely participated and effective representative body of the Turkish steel industry. The Turkish Steel Producers Association represents our steel sector before national and international organizations. Our Association actively participates in efforts to enhance the global competitiveness of the Turkish steel sector in collaboration with national and international organizations such as the Turkish Construction Materials Producers Association (İMSAD), the Federation of Sectoral Associations (SEDEFED), the European Steel Association (EUROFER), the World Steel Association (worldsteel), and the OECD Steel Committee.
