Turkey's Crude Steel Production Increased by 3.1% in October
In October 2025, Turkey's crude steel production rose by 3.1% compared to the same month last year, reaching 3.21 million tons. Billet production increased by 9.2% to 2.07 million tons, while slab production decreased by 6.5% to 1.1 million tons.
In light of these figures, crude steel production in the 10-month period increased by 1.2% compared to the same period last year, reaching 31.3 million tons. Billet production increased by 4.7%, while slab production recorded a decrease of 4.4%.
During the 10-month period, 72.4% of crude steel production was carried out by Electric Arc Furnaces, and 27.6% by Integrated Plants.
