Turkey's Crude Steel Production Increased by 3.4% in February 2026

In February 2026, Turkey's crude steel production rose by 3.4% to 3.02 million tons compared to the same month of the previous year. Billet production decreased by 4.9% to 1.8 million tons, while slab production increased by 18.5% to 1.2 million tons compared to the same month of the previous year. In the 2-month period, 72.2% of crude steel production was carried out by Electric Arc Furnaces, and 27.8% by Integrated Plants.
