Turkey's Crude Steel Production Increased by 6.4% in March 2026

In March 2026, Turkey's crude steel production rose by 6.4% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 3.3 million tons. Billet production decreased by 4.8% compared to the same month of the previous year, amounting to 1.8 million tons, while slab production increased by 20% to 1.45 million tons. In the 3-month period, 72.2% of crude steel production was carried out by Electric Arc Furnaces, and 27.8% by Integrated Plants.
