The company contributes to the circular economy through its scrap-based electric arc furnace (EAF) production model, focusing on reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions in the fight against climate change. Reaffirming its commitment to the 2050 net zero target, Çolakoğlu Metallurgy reached a significant milestone in renewable energy investments with the 2.1 MWp Çubuk Rolling Mill Roof SPP project commissioned in 2024.

Digital Transformation Stood Out

The year 2024 was a period where digital transformation came to the forefront for Çolakoğlu Metallurgy. Digitalization steps extending from production processes to business models increased efficiency and strengthened sustainability goals.

Employee and Community-Focused Approach

Investments in human resources formed the foundation of the sustainability strategy. Throughout 2024, a total of 70,535 hours of training were provided to employees, supporting development with an average of 42.6 hours of training per person.

Aiming to increase female employment, the company plans to raise the proportion of female employees to 25% by 2030. In the field of occupational health and safety, projects carried out in line with the "zero accident" target, regular inspections, and notification systems reinforced a safe working culture.

In terms of social contribution, equal opportunities were provided to local youth through the Çolakoğlu Sports Club, while projects supporting social cohesion and inclusivity were implemented.

Customer Focus and Trust

In 2024, the customer satisfaction rate reached 89%, surpassing the target of 85%, marking a significant achievement. The company emphasized that stakeholder collaborations and collective efforts made sustainability successes even more meaningful.
