The EIA process for İsdemir's solar power plant project in Kütahya has officially started
The official Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has officially started for the solar power plant (SPP) project planned to be established by İskenderun Demir ve Çelik A.Ş. (İsdemir) in Demiroluk Village, Çavdarhisar district of Kütahya.

In the statement made by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change's General Directorate of EIA, Permit and Inspection, it was announced that the project file was examined in accordance with Article 8 of the EIA Regulation and found to be in compliance with the "General Format". Thus, the project has taken an important step by moving to the evaluation stage.
The investment planned on a total area of 46.43 hectares;

will be implemented. The project is aimed to have an installed capacity of 36.011 MWm / 25 MWe / 36.011 MWp.
In the Ministry's statement, it was reminded that information, opinions, and suggestions about the project can be conveyed to the Kütahya Governorship (Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change) or directly to the Ministry until the EIA process is completed. It was stated that developments regarding the process will continue to be shared with the public.
